Every Saturday from 5pm to 9pm we are open for you to visit us to help clean the foster space and spend time with the cats - we call this play/clean volunteering! We hope to open up for a play/clean on a weekday evening when we have found our second Foster Care Volunteer.
To join us for play/clean on Saturdays (otherwise known as Caturdays!), email us during the week of the Saturday you wish to come. You can come anytime between 5pm to 9pm, before or after dinner. We do not need a huge group of helpers every week as it will become a squeezy affair for everyone if there are lots of volunteers (small home!) So we shall limit each play/clean volunteering session to about 3 persons. After you have SMSed Elaine to confirm attendance and time you will be given our address. No experience needed just a great attitude and be willing to get dirty with the cleaning and wiping and mopping! Riley and/or Elaine will be around to show you what and how.
Please take note that next Saturday 27 May there will be NO PLAY/CLEAN VOLUNTEERING SESSION. Andy and Elaine will be taking a cycling trip to Malaysia. So, from the week next!

Adopting from us
Cats that are being fostered by us receive the best care possible. They are fed premium grain-free dry and canned food, according to their age requirements. They are also given fresh supply of water 24-hours, necessary supplements, toys, and are also toilet-trained, exercised and socialised while they stay with us. Young orphans that need to be hand-reared are bottle-fed with KMR milk replacement. They will also be cleaned and groomed to ensure that they remain well and healthy. Any sicknesses or injuries the animal may have when they come to us we will treat it with first aid and OTC medication or bring to the vet if the condition is serious. Kittens above the age of 8 weeks old will given their first booster vaccination.
Adopting from Love Kuching Project will require an Adoption Fee from the adopters. This is to:
1) Prevent the pet from being abandoned again
2) Prevent the pet from being re-sold at a profit
3) Cover part of the animal's boarding expenses
4) Help us further our work in rescuing and re-homing animals-at-risk and unwanted pets
5) Cover potential veterinary costs of rescued and stray animals in our custody
6) Cover vaccination costs
Adopters will be required to sign an Adoption Agreement. This is to prevent adopters from profiteering by reselling the animal as well as to ensure the animal's welfare is cared for adequately in its new home.
